At CrystalSpace, we’re at the forefront of advanced imaging technology, working with some of the most exciting projects in the space and technology sectors. As we expand, we’re looking for a talented Embedded Engineer to join our team and help design the firmware and software that powers our groundbreaking systems.

What You’ll Do

  • Firmware & Software Development: Write and optimize embedded software for our advanced camera systems.
  • Programming Expertise: Work with C++, C, Cmake and Python, developing reliable, efficient, and scalable solutions. Have worked with embedded operating systems (FreeRTOS, Zephyr, etc. ) and embedded Linux.
  • Version Control: Collaborate with the team using GitHub to maintain and manage codebases effectively.
  • Hardware Integration: Develop software solutions that interface seamlessly with hardware systems. Are able to read hardware drawings, and provide feedback to the hardware team.
  • Problem Solving: Debug, test, and troubleshoot firmware and software to ensure peak performance.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with engineers, product managers, and clients to ensure solutions meet technical and operational requirements.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proficiency in C++, C, Cmake and Python programming languages.
  • Experience using GitHub or similar version control systems.
  • Strong understanding of embedded systems development, including firmware and hardware-software interaction.
  • A methodical and detail-oriented approach to debugging and testing software.
  • A collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Interest in the technology space and willingness to learn and grow alongside our expanding company.

Location & Commitment

  • This is a full-time position.
  • We welcome candidates who are available to work on-site in Tartu, Estonia, or in a hybrid setup.
  • For hybrid work arrangements, occasional on-site presence in Tartu will be required to ensure effective collaboration and hands-on involvement with the team and hardware.
